Public policy / terms
The service relationship between ReTale and the merchants who use the platform.
These launch-baseline pages describe the current product posture. Final legal, privacy, and compliance approval is required before production merchant traffic.
ReTale provides commerce infrastructure, admin tooling, APIs, and generated storefront workflows. Merchants remain responsible for their business, products, claims, customer support, and legal obligations.
Merchants must keep account access secure, provide accurate business information, maintain lawful catalog and marketing content, and review generated storefront previews before publishing.
Merchants decide where their products may lawfully be shipped and set those limits in shipping profiles, including state and ZIP exclusions and adult signature. ReTale applies the rules a merchant sets but does not maintain a list of state, local or carrier restrictions or check a merchant's rules against the law. Registrations, licences, tax filings and shipment reporting for regulated products, including under the PACT Act, and confirming that a carrier will accept a shipment, remain the merchant's responsibility.
Payment, messaging, domain, identity, hosting, and other configured providers may apply additional terms. ReTale does not take custody of raw card data or change a provider's obligations.
ReTale may change, suspend, or retire platform features for maintenance, safety, legal, or security reasons. Merchant data handling remains subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable retention or legal-hold requirements.
